The King’s Foundation is dedicated to raise dynamic leaders in Botswana. They are  many communities in Botswana that lack such leaders and mentors. We run football programs that help to build young soccer players from grass root levels. The King’s foundation has such programs across the country. In Gaborone we have programs at Old Naledi and Tsholofelo at 1600hrs, Bokaa, Francistown at Mother Theresa Resource Center (MTRC), and Mathangwane. The football programs focus on skill development. We then use the football skills to teach a life skills. We have also started with the girl’s football in Old Naledi which is doing very well.

One of the parents came to our program to thank the King’s Foundation for the tremendous work as their child is now helping out at home with chores and grades have improved at school. For your involvement and support contact the outreach coordinator and let us build a united and proud nation together.

Rookie Breakfast Meeting

April Fools, a typically precarious day filled with jokes, laughter, and pranks. The King’s Foundation Outreach team gathered the Rookie Leaders for a morning breakfast to celebrate the joyous holiday.  We broke the ice by working efficiently as a team to cook and clean up the meal which prepared them for a serious discussion about the importance of integrity, leadership, and responsibility.  To silence the chatter, Oliver came organized with a list of bible verses and valuable lessons to share with the Rookies.

The meeting’s main objective was to motivate the leaders, build strong relationships, and overcome the challenges in developing a program.  Oliver emphasized punctuality and holding each other accountable for our actions and scheduled attendances.  Another member presented a valid point to remain eye-level with the kids, act goofy, and become a kid yourself.  The children thrive on the positive spirit.  A young Rookie earned himself a t-shirt and hat for his hard work and commitment to the King’s Foundation.
